Week 60/102: maandag 18 juli geen email van Elder Meads

Sorry Folks. He commented on the family photos we sent, but there wasn't an email for everyone this week. His email pretty much asked for a new set of scriptures to be sent along with a few more needed items. He also mentioned that less people were emailing him of late, so if you happen to be among those busy folks, then perhaps you could pause from reading these long enough to email a quick message of support and share a bit of your week with him?

The email below sums up his week, but it isn't much. He had places to go and Elders to meet up with - totally understandable!

"Sorry, I don't have my planner by me, so it's hard to remember exactly what happened on which day, I guess it's just a testament to how busy our week has been.
The biggest event of the week of course was transfers. Elder Vanfleet transferred and I get to stay put, but also get to be companions with an MTC District Elder. So, with the getting of a new companion on one's 3rd transfer with 6 more weeks in front of one, a re-arrangement of the furniture needed to take place. Elder Garcia and I made it a requirement. After we rearranged the furniture into pretty much a perfect configuration, I feel like I wasted the last 18 weeks of my life living far below my apartment's potential. It's so homey now!
We also have been hitting the doors, talking to people on streets, and generally making next week be completely booked to the point that if someone can't make an appointment, they're out of luck until the next week. I like it when we're busy, it takes the far-less-motivating routine of knocking on doors completely out of the equation.

We have dinner appointments all of next week too so we'll have to cook a total of like, 4 meals, all week. It's amazing. I've never had this on my mission. The coolest part is that the dinners are mostly with investigators. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Elder Garcia is funny, fun to work with, and we're gonna kill it out here. Love you all, bye!
