Week 035/102: maandag 25 januari email van Elder Meads

I´m awake and so is Nederland!  I will just go orderly from the days:

Monday: Lekker P-day, Johnson and I played volleyball with other elders, and had a wonderful dinner appointment with the other elders.  Everything was nice and peachy.
Tuesday: In that P-day, we ate dutch pancakes, and my companion, Elder Johnson, is gluten free, but he ate them anyway. He got really sick to his stomach, and we definintly could not work this day. We were in the entire day, and he slept for 8 something hours while I called some people, and just did some busy work like cleaning the apartment and stuff like that
Wednesday: This day was a World Wide Missionary Broadcast. The first one in 10 years or something like that. It took up a good portion of the day.
Thursday: We went to
a District Meeting from 9 am and stayed until almost 6 pm to do interviews with President.  That day was ridiculous, but refreshing as I love our M.P. We weren´t expecting to stay that long, so it wrecked our #´s for that day.
Friday: Finally, a normal day, or so we first thought. We get a call from another Elder saying he had no companion since his companion, Mr. District Leader Sosa, had to go to Belgium this day to get a drivers license. So, Johnson an I go over to pick him up, and he had 3 appointments that day, so we had to drop everything we had planned and do his appointments. Fun day, for the 3 of us, but completely unexpected.
Saturday: Okay, this day has to be normal. Right?  Wrong. 9:15 am we get a call from the Office saying that they need us to go to the train station and pick up a missionary.
So we call everyone we had that day and drop them, and spend time prepping for a 3rd man. We pick him up from the train station, and walk back to our apartment. We give a quick tour and just sit down for some nice planning, and we get a call from the AP´s. They´re now saying we have to all go back to the train station, and that we will have transfer calls tonight which is earlier than expected. Elder Johnson will be going to Brussels, in Belgium, and I will be staying here in Rotterdam North with a new companion. So Johnson packs and all 3 of us go back down to the train station and after a train comes and missionaries scramble, an Elder Tolman walks home with me. Guess we won't need to worry about getting transferred out of Rottterdam in a few short weeks.  So, yeah, that happened.
Sunday: Nice and rustig. No appointments, but Elder Tolman and I made a ton for this coming week. So there it is -crazy week over!

Love you guys, bye  -Elder Meads
