Week 030/102: maandag 21 december email van Elder Meads

Klaas and his children, Harp and myself:

A big clock tower, which is super common here. I love this place!

Canals. Ya gotta love them :)

A Staadhuis... Still not sure what it is exactly.

Rotterdam Centraal Station is very Very big compared to Assen's.

[Elder Meads is not in Assen any more :)] The 1st picture with Johnson and I:

The Door to our apartment, see video for a complete tour.
[Note that the video is too large to upload to this blog.]

Mom's Christmas hanging hung on one wall in our apartment:

Johnson´s paper Christmas tree and my presents under it.

The Christmas tree in our church. It´s a big church building.

Pulpit of our HUGE church decorated for Christmas:

This looks as large as a freaking Utah sized Church!

A fox we came across. No they are not common here. I was just as suprised as you are! This was taken in the dark, so I don´t know how it was light enough for the picture, but that'll explain it´s such low resolution.

These are little red lights that litter the ground around Rotterdam and they signify where Rotterdam was bombed in WWII. Very interesting.

A completely random turkish wedding we walked in on, so I decided I would turn my camera on. Why not, right? Very fun. See video for the music and such.

[Again, the video is too large (long) to be uploaded to this blog. Our family enjoys watching the short videos he uploads to drop box. We love drop box! Here's a screen shot of the exchange elder (Elder Sosa) he was tracting with when they happened to come across the wedding party:][If the Sosa family has not been sent the same video, or have video featuring Elder Meads, contact...]

A completely random catholic church Christmas concert we were invited to attended. They were singing all the Christmas songs in English instead of Dutch. [Surprising.]

Outside after the Christmas concert:

Zuster Markus is at the top of this ward’s list of missionaries.
She’s a girl I met in the MTC who’s going to Korea.

Thought this would be funny to you guys. Sushi Yaah!
Not quite the same as back home, but made me laugh.

Elder D´agostin and I hanging out in a city which I don´t remember. Not Rotterdam though. Super cool though, that food he´s holding is really good BTW.
